My Journey

In the spring of 2023 I took my first photography class at Shepherd University and I immediately realized something that had been with me all along: a love for photography. I now find myself mixing my two greatest passions - cooking and photography - by creating lumen prints imprinted by some of my favorite foods and flowers. I enjoy working with the bright colors and ghostly images that blend into combinations that you would not expect. Utilizing the natural colors from the lumen print, I push and pull them to their extremes.

Some of my other photography I have enjoyed working with are the women's soccer team at Shepherd University, nature photographs and digital art work. Through my nature photograph I try to capture the beauty of the fleeting moment. I'm also fascinated by shadows and the unique arrangement of them.
